India and China will engage in another round of border talks on July 10. The meeting will be held virtually.
Special representatives of India and China held telephonic conversations on Sunday. India’s National Security Advisor, Ajit Doval and Chinese State Councillor and Minister of Foreign Affairs Wang Yi agreed that both sides should complete the disengagement process soon and work towards restoring peace and tranquillity in the region. The disengagement process along the Line of Actual Control was completed on July 8 with Chinese troops moving 2 kilometres backwards.
