
North Maharashtra and South Gujarat are likely to face the brunt of sever cyclone on June 3 as low-pressure area is developing over the Arabian Sea and Lakshadweep Islands. According to the India Meteorological Department, the cyclone is expected to hit the coast with a speed of 105-110 kmph. Chief Minister, Uddhav Thackeray has appealed fishermen not to venture into the sea in the next 3-4 days. Palghar district has been put on high alert.
