
One year after the start of his second term, PM Narendra Modi thanked the people of his country for their support, goodwill and affection. He highlighted the significance of ‘Antyodaya’ that has changed the lives of millions of Indians for the better. 2014 onwards, since his Government came to power, free electricity, sanitation work, gas supply gave poor the dignity they deserved, he added.
He further added the government’s contribution to bringing one tax for the entire country and fulfilling the demand of One Rank One Pension. The slogan of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas has taken India ahead on the road to success. He also touched upon scrapping of Article 370 in J&K, Supreme Court Judgement on Ram Mandir, he added his government had laid particular emphasis on empowering women, poor and farmers. Honouring the Corona warriors, he said, the battle is a long one, but we can overcome the crisis together.
India’s economic crisis is the cause of concern for many Indians. Assuring everyone, PM Modi added, that India would set an example for economic revival. Self-reliant India is the way forward, he said.
